College Infrastructure

This Century old college presently runs in 5 blocks; The Main building, New Building, Arts Block, Old Commerce Block and Old Life Science which was converted to College Community Centre. In total there are 36 classrooms including a 16 seater Computer Lab room, An Auditorium, A Smartroom, A Conference hall, A Career Counseling Cell, Central Library and Students’ Reading Library, A Language Lab, Boys’ and Girls’ Common Room and a Students Canteen. Besides the college houses Office, Accounts and Store rooms. Separate Controller of Examinations, Confidential Examination Cell, SAMS and Internet facilities are provisioned. This apart, four Gents’ and two Ladies hostels provide boarding to around 400 students. Some 12 additional classrooms, Four Science Labs, a 160 capacity Girls Common room and a 64 seater Computer Lab with differently abled friendly Water Closet and Ramps have been provisioned under World Bank funded OHEPEE. A state of the art Gym, A basketball ground and a large playground meets the sports requirements of the students.
